The Geometric Collection
The geometric age was a period of Greek history lasting from 1050 BC to 700 BC that took its name from the geometric decoration found on ceramic vases. While in the previous ages the geometric patterns were instinctive linear symbols in a continuous and uncontrolled flow, the new geometric art controlled them with harmony and created a rhythm with them.
