The model of this GOLD INGOT motif series is the AWM-500 based on the AW-500, which is the first analog-digital G-SHOCK. The case and bezel of this model is the first in the G-SHOCK line-up to feature a rose gold ion plate finish. The dial of the AWM-500GD also has a vapor-deposition finish, which gives it the texture of metal.
