Ibanez introduced the RGT1270PB in 2022, a solid body electric guitar from the RG series. Crafted in Indonesia, it is part of the mid-tier Premium line. The RGT1270PB features neck through body construction with a 3mm thick poplar burl top on American basswood body wings on a maple and walnut Wizard III neck with an ebony fingerboard with acrylic & abalone split block position markers, and 24 stainless steel jumbo frets with Premium edge treatment. Components include DiMarzio pickups with Air Norton and The Tone Zone humbuckers flanking a True Velvet single-coil, an Edge double locking tremolo bridge, cosmo black hardware & Gotoh machine heads.
